Beneath the surface *
This is where my journey began, a place of imagination and hope that shapes me as a storyteller and offers you a glimpse into my thoughts beneath the surface.
Die or Fly
This piece is inspired by my favorite dragon, Tairn, from Fourth Wing. I wrote it from his perspective, promoting Basgiath College while capturing his tough yet vulnerable nature and his unique way of inspiring others to rise.
Ripple of Ruins
In this piece, I explore memory, pain, and loneliness through the eyes of a girl struggling with her fractured past and fading hope. I wanted to capture the delicate tension between her longing for connection and the harsh reality she faces.
Three Moves
I was inspired by chess pieces for this poem. Although the Pawn is often seen as weak and easily sacrificed, I wanted to show how it is ultimately mighty. Alongside the Knight’s stride and the Rook’s ruthless power, each piece represents a different path to the crown, revealing strength, kindness, and ambition in unexpected ways.
Stick to it- Literally
While sitting at my table, I spotted a dried-up tube of Fevicol and wished it could mend my life. Though it was empty, that inspiration was worth every drop I never got to use.
